Good Morning Alissa and the rest of My TMB Family,

Happy rainy Tuesday.  We had storms most of the night last night and I can hear the thunder and see the lightening so looks like we are going to have more.  Guess I wont be walking this morning.  Maybe later if it clears up.  Not to much on the agenda for today.  If it continues to rain I will have to take Mark to work.  Now that we dont have the truck anymore and he counts on the Motorcycle when I rains I have to take him.  Not a problem.  Will get Eric off to school and then take him.  Then home to do a few things around here I guess.  Having coffee this afternoon with some of the ladies from church.  I am so looking forward to that.  Still no word on a house on base yet, but we did stop by there yesterday and she said she should hear sometime this week.  I just do not like being so up in the air.  Eric is supposed to have a end of the season soccer party after school today at one of the kids on his teams house.  They have a pool, and are going to have hot dogs and chips and stuff.  I hope the weather holds out for them.  They certainly deserve it.  Got all my test results back yesterday and everything was fine.  Praise God for that one.  I allways manage to worry for no reason at all.  Ok time to get a move on.  Prayers for those in need this morning.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

Good morning all!! Guess I'm working this morning..no message on my phone to tell me my lady died during the night. She's a tough cookie-didn't even have a  palpable blood pressure 10 hours ago. That's why I NEVER "guess" how long someone "has left" no matter how much the family pressures me/asks. I just tell them my "crystal ball broke a long time ago"...every person is so different. This particular family was just wearing me out yesterday (I had to hide Mama's meds in my pocket to keep people from "borrowing" them)...sigh...sometimes it's just that way..gotta pay the piper for last week's FABULOUS family I was with...But it wouldn't break my heart for the phone to ring RIGHT NOW and tell me to stay home...lol

So much heartache on the news this monring...layoffs...murders...car wrecks..Sending out prayers for all-I don't have to know them-GOD knows them..And so much heartache right here on our TMB.I tried to catch up some this morning, but failed miserably, so will just have to ask GOD for special prayers "all around" for my TMB family

Just got text from Train Man David W...he always makes me smile as he is out exercising and I am SITTING here, wishing I had his drive..He is one of the most POSITIVE people I know

Off to the shower..maybe THAT will make this darn phone ring!!

Hope everyone has a healthy day!!

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

I Love a Rainy Night - Eddie Rabbit

Well, I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightning
When it lights up the sky
You know it makes me feel good

Well, I love a rainy night
It's such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain
On my face
Taste the rain on my lips
In the moonlight shadow

Showers washed
All my cares away
I wake up to a sunny day
'Cos I love a rainy night
Yeah, I love a rainy night
Well, I love a rainy night
Well, I love a rainy night

Ooh-ooh

I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightning
When it lights up the sky
You know it makes me feel good

Well, I love a rainy night
It's such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain
On my face
To taste the rain on my lips
In the moonlight shadows

Puts a song
In this heart of mine
Puts a smile on my face every time

'Cos I love a rainy night
Yeah, I love a rainy night
Ooh, I love a rainy night
Yeah, I love a rainy night

Ooh-ooh

Showers washed
All my cares away
I wake up to a sunny day
'Cos I love a rainy night
Yeah, I love a rainy night
Well, I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
Well, I love a rainy night
You can see it in my eyes
Yeah, I love a rainy night
Well, it makes me high
Ooh, I love a rainy night
You know I do, yeah, yeah
I love a rainy night

I love a rainy night
You can see it in my eyes..

Good morning.  I tried thinking it was already Wednesday, but realized it's just tuesday this morning.  I know this week will fly by.  I need to get or do a pedicure today.  I ran out of time yesterday and didn't get around to it.  Lots of folders to work on at school today.  It's a whole school day, but 3 finals and they last longer.  The next 2 days are 1/2 days.

Jumpstart into June w/ us if you want accountability...we'd love to have you join us!

Prayers for Liz's interview and allothers who are sick or in need of prayers.

Have a great Tuesday!

Good Morning TMB!!

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day in VA Beach.  Too bad today isn't going to be a repeat.  Today it's going to be in the 90s with high humidity and scattered thunderstorms.  YUCK.  Yesterday it was in the mid 70s, low humidity and a lovely breeze.  Oh well, every day can't be perfect, huh?  Going to turn on the AC in a little bit so the house STAYS cool.  :)

Nothing much going on.  Cleaned house all day yesterday.  Still have a little to do today, but not sure how much will get accomplished other than laundry and some decluttering in the living room where the kids left stuff laying around last night.  MIGHT clean the bathrooms as I didn't get to them yesterday.  Would rather drink coffee and read though.  LOL

Hope everyone has a marvelous day!  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!!

I'm so glad Monday is over.  Just being Tuesday makes this a better day already.  I managed to get back into the swing of things pretty well yesterday, but by 9pm I was in bed!  Pitiful, I know.

Today kiddos have reduced schedules for exams.  Both are stressed.  Prayers for them.

DH is giving exams and he's almost giddy cause that means only 2 more days with his students and not a single one will be held back from graduating this year.  He threw them a suprise pizza party yesterday for passing their TAKS and their math class.  Who knew teens would get so excited over something so simple?!?!

Prayers to everyone in need.  May you find peace, wellness and jobs!

YEAH for the kids and your husband-hope the next 2 days go well for all. My boss gave us a small thing of candy each yesterday and everyone was so excited. Yes, its sad when state employees have a lower threshold of excitment over free stuff than teens......
How are you feeling?

Good morning everyone,

Getting oh so close to graduation.  Britt doesn't have to go to school at all today.  She's exempt from all of her finals today.  She only has one tomorrow and that's Spanish and only because the teacher is being a jerk.  Those are her words.

I took her yesterday to look at a car and Grandpa is going to lend us the money to buy it and we will pay him back once we sell her current car.  She's excited about it.  It's still a very used car but in better shape then her current car.  It's a 1998 Ford Taurus.

Saying prayers for all of you.  Have a great day everyone.

Hey Annette!
Check out the consumer guide on the car- I think its on the govt transportation admin site. I had a 1997 Taurus and it went through four transmissions before I traded it out. The list of mechanical problems on it was endless. I actually named it Christine because it was truly the car from h*ll. Hopefully a 98 won't have the same issues, but please be sure.

Good luck- I truly hope it all works out!!!
